The Morano Effect

My highest traffic level ever, sigh. Far less attention gets paid to the good stuff. (Hey, look over there on the right. ======>)

Most of the other spikes involved Morano in some way, too... Usually with some silly blurt of mine in an otherwise reasonable posting that can be spun into palpable evil. Some people think this means I should watch every word I ever say, like a Democratic politician. Obama is very good at it. For all the good it does him.

But there's another side to it. Maybe I should advocate the live sacrifice of puppies every few weeks just to keep the numbers up.

  1. Look on the bright side, Michael. With variation like that, nobody's going to call it a Hockey Stick chart.

  2. Starlings.

    If you must, use starlings.

    Worse pests than puppies.

  3. Don't be so nice. Take the crazy letters and send them to Morano, asking him if he agrees. Send each and everyone to Lucia. Send them to Fred Singer. You can program, write a script

I don't think cacao grows there though!

  5. At least now you know even better why climatologists feel so strongly about their correspondence being confidential.

  6. Regarding the "Morano Effect"... Would this be an example?

Moderation is on. Apologies for any delays.

Err on the side of politesse and understatement please.

Before you speak, ask yourself if what you have to say will improve on silence.
